Forum for Democratic Process (FODEP) has charged that the delay in enacting the Access to Information Bill is what has caused the leakage of the constitution on online Media.

Executive Director McDonald Chipenzi says had government implemented the Access to Information Law by now in the country, the people of Zambia would have had easy Access to any kind of Information they want.

Mr. Chipenzi notes that this also saves government a lesson as it should not even contemplate to ban social Media because people are living in an error of social Media which cannot be stopped as no one is willing to go back to Stone Age.

Mr. Chipenzi has since challenged government to be more open, transparent and accountable.
