Kasama central Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mwamba’s campaign Manager in the 2011 elections, Nathan Ilunga says the electorates in Kasama central are still in love with the former defence Minister.
Mr Ilunga has told Qfm News in a telephone interview that allegations of disrespect leveled against Mr Mwamba are a total fabrication aimed at expelling him from the ruling party.
He says Mr Mwamba has shown total respect to President Michael Sata and at no time has he spoken ill against the Head of State.
Mr. Ilunga says it is unfair for some individuals to go to such extremes of accusing the Kasama central lawmaker of disrespecting the president when he has remained loyal to the party and the president.
He adds that this is the work of a few individuals who want to tarnish his name.
