At least 50 Churches in Mufumbwe District in North Western province will this year benefit from gift boxes from the Operating Christmas Child (OCC) in collaboration with Samaritan’s Purse.

The two organizations are from the United States (US) and the United Kingdom respectively.

OCC National Coordinator, Anthony Mwansa, saidhis organisation remains committed to demonstrating God’s love through the spirit of giving to children.

Pastor Mwansa said OCC will continue working with local Churches to share the message of Christ globally.

The Pastor was speaking in Mufumbwe during a workshop organized to sensitize Church leaders on the importance of giving to children.

He disclosed that his organization targets children between two and 14 years who are the future Church leaders.

Pastor Mwansa has since urged Church leaders to continue praying for children worldwide.

And Mufumbwe Pastors’ Chairperson, John Sabita, disclosed that OCC will this year give out at least 2000 gift boxes to Churches in the district.

Pastor Sabita has since commended the two international organizations for harmonizing efforts of Churches in the district seeking to benefit children, who are the pillars of Churches.

Operating Christmas Child and Samaritans Purse work with local Churches and ministry partners to deliver gifts to more than 100 million children in over 130 countries.
