Mamelodi clinch friendly with Nkana

–Visiting South African Premier Side Mamelodi
Sundown’s have secured an additional friendly match against Zambia
envoy in CAF Champions League, Nkana, this Thursday.


Sundown’s are in the country for the four-club international friendly
tournament which includes Democratic Republic of Congo’s Side Don Bosco
and Zambia’s Zesco United and Power Dynamos.


ZANIS reports that Sundown’s Media coordinator, Thulani Thuswa ,told
mtnfootball.com that the match against Nkana will be played at Kitwe’s
Arthur Davies stadium starting at 16:00 hours Zambian time.


Nkana‘s match against Sundown’s will be their first pre-season game
ahead of their 2014 CAF Champions League preliminary round ,first leg
match away to Mbabane Swallows of Swaziland on March 8.


The team, which arrived in the country last Friday, kicked off their
opening match on Saturday with a 3-2 at the hands of Power dynamos at
the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.


Congolese side Don Bosco, who has two Zambia players – Luka Lungu and Joseph Sitali on their list – beat Zesco United by a lone goal.


Tomorrow, Sundown’s face Don Bosco while Zesco United battle it out
with Power Dynamos at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
