Ng’andu tops table tennis 2013 rankings

Friday Ng’andu emerged as the highest ranked seniors team-A Zambia Table Tennis player for the year 2013.

Ng’andu scored a total of 209 points at the end of December last year beating his closest rival Lloyd Mubanga who was ranked second with 182 points.

According to the December rankings released on the Zambia table tennis face book page, Noel Kasanda closed the top three senior’s team-A highest ranked on 174 points.

ZANIS Sports reports that Isaac Banda also emerged table tennis team -B’s highest ranked player with 169 points and was followed by Martin Chewe on 159 points with Simasiku Kalaluka scoring 156 points.

Meanwhile, Humphrey Kapula topped the technical bench’s highest ranking on 151 points and was seconded by Choolwe Hamalambo with 125 points.

Third on the technical bench’s ranking was George Mulanda on 123 points, while the fourth position was shared by Timothy Nkhata and Simon Mwando both on 96 points.

Closing the top seven technical bench list was Chipasha Musonda and Tylor Fundulu on 67 and 28 points respectively.
