  1. Accountability is an important cornerstone of democracy. This goes for journalists and politicians.
Freedom of speech is also such a cornerstone.
How many british tabloid journalists would have to be arrested for publishing false information??
The right of the individual seek redress and the law to prosecute criminal acts are the weapons which may be employed and rightly so. But arrests for publishing wrong information???
    Is this proportional?
