Zambia stars Felix Katongo, Jimmy Chisenga and Kondwani Mtonga hit by injuries at the 2013 Cecafa Cup in Kenya.

All three players sustained their knocks during Zambia’s opening Group B game played on a waterlogged Machakos Stadium pitch on Thursday in a 1-1 draw with Tanzania at the on-going Cecafa Cup currently taking place in Kenya.
Red Arrows defender Chisenga was first to be hit after limping off just after the break.
Zambia team physician Doctor Joseph Kabungo told MTNFootball.com that Chisenga was also a serious doubt for Sundays must-win game against Group B leaders Burundi.
“We have some minor injuries Chisenga has sprain in the left ankle,  Katongo has a strain in the left calf while Kondwani has a contusion in the left Quadriceps,” Dr Kabungo told MTNFootball.com.
“More doubts on Jimmy but he is doing a lot better this morning (Friday). The other guys should be able to make it for the next game on Sunday.”
Zesco United midfielder Kondwani started and finished the match against Tanzania while Katongo from Green Buffaloes was substituted in the 73rd minute as the boggy pitch took a physical toll on the Zambia team against a rampaging Kilimanjaro Stars who rallied to force a draw.
