President Sata appoints Mwape as Zambian Ambassador to China

President Michael Sata has appointed and sworn-in Gertrude Mwape as Zambian Ambassador to China.

Speaking during the swearing in ceremony at State house this morning President Sata urged Ms Mwape to be careful as she is now going to be dealing with the Chinese who are more intelligent.

President Sata has also wished Ms Mwape the best as she takes up her new position.

And Ms Mwape says she is humbled by the president’s gesture to appoint her as high commissioner to the people republic of China.

She says she will work to her level best and ensure that she contributes positively to enhancing the two countries’ development.
