The Zambia National Women’s Lobby (ZNWL) has called on relevant authorities to investigate reports of men who have been involved in impregnating one hundred and eighty (180) primary school going girls in Kaoma.

ZNWL Chairperson, Beauty Katebe Phiri, has told QFM News in an interview that such developments are an indication how immoral men in the country have become.

Ms Phiri says it is important for Zambia, a country well cultured; to strategize on how best girl child education in the country can be promoted.

She says it is unfortunate that such bad developments have continued to occur where girls are forced to drop out of schools due to pregnancy related reasons.

She notes that most men have become immoral and irresponsible and should be blamed for the drop out of girls from school by impregnating them.

Ms Phiri has since appealed to government to ensure that all the men responsible for impregnating the one hundred and eighty girls in Kaoma are charged with defilement.
