POLICE arrest five people for Examination malpractice

The five were arrested at the weekend after they were found in possession of photocopies of grade nine examination papers.

Acting Copperbelt Police chief Joyce Kasosa confirmed the arrest and named the suspects as Bright Chongo, 25, of C63 Mine Township, Milan Chileshe, 25, of house number B77 Mine Township, and Terrence Mwamba, 25, of house number number 53 ZRT in Lubengele Township.

Other suspects included Davies Sichilima, 25, of B308 Mine Township, a business executive, and Steven Simukonda, 19, of W35 Lubengele, a Grade 10 pupil at Chililabombwe High School.

Ms Kasosa said the five were found with photocopies of grade nine examination papers for history and environmental science paper one and two around 23:00 hours at a stationery shop at Lubengele Market.

They are currently in detention and would appear in court soon.
