Political scientist Alex Ng’oma says the indecision by the top leadership of the Patriotic Front (PF) is what has led to intraparty violence which has become a source of concern.

Dr. Ng’oma’s observation comes in the wake of the last week violence by PF cadres in which one person was killed.

Dr. Ng’oma notes that had the PF leadership come out strongly earlier on the brewing rift in the party, acts of violence being witnessed would have been prevented.

He says the top leadership of the PF should prevail over their cadres and stop any escalation in violence acts.

Dr. Ng’oma tells QFM News in an interview that there is no other way rather than the PF top leadership coming out strongly to condemn violent acts and warn perpetrators of stern action.
