SUN International Zambia’s Royal Livingstone Hotel has for the seventh year running been awarded a World Travel Award (WTA) for being Zambia’s leading hotel in 2013.

Winning a WTA is regarded as one of the highest achievement in the global leisure industry and it serves as a testament to the hotel’s hard work and commitment to excellence over the last 12 months.

This is according to a Press statement released in Livingstone yesterday by Sun International Zambia public relations manager Joyce Sikabbuba.

Leading global travel industry professionals nominate and then vote for their favourite travel destinations, airlines and other travel products.

And Sun International Zambia general manager Joanne Selby said the hotel was delighted to be voted as the country’s leading hotel again.

Ms Selby said winning a WTA was regarded as a very special brand that commits an entity to being the best in every aspect of customer experience.

The latest award follows Royal Livingstone Hotel being recognised as one of the best hotels in the world according to the 18th edition of the Travel + Leisure’s 2013 World’s Best Awards.

Sun International Zambia operates Royal Livingstone Hotel as well as Zambezi Sun Hotel as the Falls Resort.
