Former Republican President Rupiah Bwezani Banda is scheduled to return back in the country this weekend.
The Former Head of State traveled to South Africa for a medical review.
Mr Banda’s Deputy Administrative Assistant Kennedy Limwanya has told QFM that Doctors attending to the former president are expected to make an assessment before deciding whether to discharge him or not.
He says Mr Banda is responding well to the Doctors’ treatment.
The Former Head of State is accompanied by his wife Thandiwe and his Administrative Assistant Mikatazo Wakumelo.
