The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has called for mature and violence free campaigns ahead of the Mansa Central Parliamentary by-election scheduled for the 22nd November.
EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza says incidences of violence as witnessed in the recent by-elections such as in Livingstone and Mkaika must not be repeated in the Mansa Central by-election.
Speaking to Qfm in a telephone interview, Rev. Mwanza says his organization expects political parties participating in the Mansa by-election to conduct issue based campaigns focused on addressing challenges that people are going through in the country.
Rev. Mwanza also adds that personal attacks must not be tolerated during campaigns.
