Airtel launches ‘Itebete’ promo

Under the promotion the customers will be allowed to call and browse for free while at the same time having a chance of winning cash prizes as they go about their day-to-day business.
Airtel  managing director, Charity Lumpa said, ‘Itebete’ promotion comes shortly after “Ichongedwe” which  came to a close in July, adding that  due to customer demand Airtel decided to launch another promotion.
“The benefit of Itebete promotion has three dimensions, 100 per cent bonus on voice, 200  per cent  bonus on data and 100 daily winners of K100 as long as you recharge your phone with  a minimum of K1 and above.
“So for every K1 top up customers will get 5 entries into the lucky draw. So, if a customer tops up with K2 they will get 10 entries, K3 gets them 15 entries and so forth,” she said.
For a customer to enjoy the free calling minutes and free browsing, Ms Lumpa said they  would be required to attain a given daily target while free data and calling minutes would  be valid until midnight the same day.
“Customers don’t need to enroll for the promotion which will run for the next 90 days, all that they need to do is send *133# to know their target,” she said.
The draws for this promotion will be verified by independent auditors Ernest and Young.
