Renowned Cleric, Father Frank Bwalya, says it is disheartening to see how the majority Zambians are still wallowing in poverty.

Father Bwalya says once in government he will make sure that the interests of the people are put first before anything else.

He was speaking in Kitwe, Saturday, during the launch of his political party, Alliance for Better –ABZ-. MUVI TV

ALLIANCE for Better Zambia (ABZ) president Frank Bwalya says he will reduce the size of Cabinet if he is voted into power in 2016.

Father Bwalya said if voted into power, he would also remove the law that requires Government  to construct a house for former presidents.

Fr Bwalya, who was speaking during the official launch of his party at Changanamai grounds in Kitwe yesterday, said time had come for Zambians to enjoy their benefits and to provide leadership for a better Zambia “where the citizenry will have three meals a day”.

“Time has come for the people to eat well, that is why we have chosen a pot as our symbol because politicians have benefited more than Zambians, and our country has remained poor but time has come for a new start,” he said.

He said the Patriotic Front (PF) Government had departed from its campaign promises as it had monopolised political power.
