Standard Chartered Bank best Bank in Zambia – Euro- money magazine
Lusaka, July 14, 2013, ZANIS—Standard Chartered Bank Zambia has been named ‘Best Bank in Zambia’ by the pre-eminent international finance magazine, Euro money.
The award was presented at the 2013 Euro money Awards for Excellence dinner held in London on July 11th this year.

Speaking on winning the award, the Bank’s Acting Managing Director, Kelvin Musana, said, the bank’s hard work to come out top in an increasingly competitive financial services sector demonstrates its commitment to provide excellent services and products to its clients.
Mr. Musana said Standard Chartered is a well rooted bank, adding that after 107 years of existence in Zambia, the bank is here to stay.
The Euro money Awards is regarded as the benchmark awards for financial services globally.
This year’s awards process, which began in April, attracted over 600 submissions from the world’s banks and brokerage houses.
All submissions were then rated on both quantitative and qualitative factors such as financial ratios and innovation over the 12 month period to decide the award winners.
