Joseph Chanda, 33 ,a resident of Location township said the upgrading of the road network will not only bring development but change the face of the district.

Mr Chanda added that a good road network contributes positively to national development and that  government should be commended for initiating the programme as it will benefit the majority of Zambians.

Another resident Mercy Chongo said the PF government has exhibited commitment to providing a good road network in the country.

Mrs. Chongo added that the district has recorded a number of developmental projects much to the delight of the people.

Meanwhile, motorists in Kasama have called on the government to widen the Timothy Chisanga- Chinuda road to prevent accidents.

Isaac Musonda , a 27 year old taxi driver observed that the road was too narrow to accommodate the passage of two vehicles at a time .

He has since appealed to the government to consider expanding the road to allow a good flow of traffic.
