Mangango hospital receives winter boost

Kaoma, June 3, 2013, ZANIS–Chiefs and Traditional Affairs deputy minister Taundi Chiseke has donated 20 blankets to Mangango mission hospital.

Mr Chiseke said government attaches great importance to the sick especially mothers and children in all the hospitals countrywide.

He noted that the weather conditions have changed this time of the year and as such all patients needed warmth to enable them recover quickly.

Mr Chiseke who is also Mangango constituency opposition MMD Member of parliament made the donation during his continued tour of sensitising people in Kaoma on the benefits of the removal of subsidies on fuel and maize.

And receiving the donated blankets, Mangango mission hospital sister-in-charge Prisca Matenga appreciated the gesture and that it has come at the right time when the institution  needed a lot of help in order to uplift the conditions of patients.

Sister Matenga said the 20 blankets will be used in the children’s ward.
