-Govt urges BRE to support subsidy removal

Deputy minister for Chiefs and Traditional Affairs, Taundi Chiseke has called on the Barotse Royal Establishment at Naliele Royal palace in Kaoma district  to support government’s decision on the removal of fuel and maize subsidies.

Speaking when he called on Senior chief Amukena at Naliele Royal palace during his familiarization tour, Mr Chiseke assured the traditional leadership that the money save will be channeled to infrastructure development throughout the country.

And senior chief Amukena who spoke through his Induna IMUSHO SINGEMBA urged government to ensure that the money benefitted the rural people.
