IG assures people of security during Kuomboka
Mongu, April 10, ZANIS —-The police service has declared its preparedness to provide security to people during this year’s Kuomboka ceremony of the Lozi people in Western Province.
Inspector General of Police Stella Libongani told ZANIS in Mongu today that the ceremony was of great importance to the region hence the need to provide security to all the people that will attend it.
Ms. Libongani said the people that will attend the ceremony also have a role to play in ensuring there was security in the area.
She has since appealed to the general public to work hand in hand with police so that the security is guaranteed during the ceremony.
She was on a four days tour of Lukulu, Mongu, Senanga and Kaoma districts in Western Province visiting operation areas.
