Kafue district woman kills hubby with pan brick after marital dispute

A TWENTY-EIGHT Year old woman of Lusaka’s Kafue district has been arrested for allegedly causing the death of her husband with a pan brick.

Police spokesperson Elizabeth Kanjela said Charity Ng’andu 28, had a marital dispute with her late husband that she was cohabiting with for the last three months.

She said the fight started at around mid-night and that the neighbors failed to stop the fight and she later reported in the morning that the husband had been beaten in Kafue’s Zambia compound.

She said the deceased sustained a deep cut on the head and his body is laying in Kafue district Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem, and that the suspect is in police custody and would appear in court soon.
