–UNZA fellowship goes rural for Easter

– The University of Zambia Students UNZA fellowship   has  embarked  on a massive  evangelism and career talks in Kasama district.

Evangelist secretary James Zulu told ZANIS that it is vital to reflect on the suffering of Jesus Christ during the easter period.

Mr. Zulu explained that as students from the highest learning institution they decided to spend their Easter period in the northenpProvince visiting rural schools and encouraging the sick in hospitals.

He said  the group has lined up  various activates such as evangelizing in schools, door to door evangelizing and also career talks in schools in the province.

The fellowship leader disclosed that so far they have visited Kasama boys, Kasama girls and Mungwi technical secondary schools.

Mr. ZULU said they have also donated drugs and bags of mealie meal to Kasama general hospital to go towards the childrens ward and mealie meal to help caregivers.

Speaking on behalf of other recipients at Kasama General hospital mother shelter, Carthreen  Mutale thanked the UNZA students for  encouraging them and donating food stuff.

About 80 students from UNZA are in Northern Province giving career talks to pupils and encouraging the sick in hospital as part of their Easter activities this year.
