—-the Barotse Royal establishment (BRE) in Mwandi has finally allocated land to the newly-established district of Mulobezi in Western Province.
This follows the completion of land demarcation and beaconing of the area by Induna Anasambala and Induna Inubu over the weekend.
This is according to Mulobezi District Commissioner, Charles Mwayanguba, in a statement made available to ZANIS in Mongu today.
Mr Mwayanguba confirmed that government departments have started operating in the district and have also started receiving their recurrent departmental expenditures.
He further disclosed that the district will soon construct about 20 low cost houses and 10 high cost houses after receiving about K1.3 billion, saying the money was already in this year’s budget.
