Youths urged to be disciplined and focussed

Sinazongwe, March 11, 2013 ZANIS…………………. Commerce, Trade, and Industry Deputy Minister Richwell Siamunene has urged the youths to be disciplined, and have the desire to work if they are to succeed in business.

Addressing youths on the eve of the Youth Day at  the United Church of Zambia (UCZ) in Maamba yesterday, Mr Siamunene said youths can do anything they want to achieve in life as long as they set their goals right.

He said financial discipline is important if youths are to remain focused on their plans they have set for themselves.

Mr Siamunene said youths should be focused for them to get what they want and urged them not to underrate themselves.

He pointed out that honesty and integrity is the requirement for conducting business.

The Deputy Minister said he will support youths that were engaged in business for them to improve and boost their life styles.

And Sinazongwe District Commissioner Dodo Sindaza also urged youths to make use of an enabling environment that government has created.

Mr Sindaza said government has the duty to support, protect its citizens, and to create a conducive environment for conducting business.

The Sinazongwe District Commissioner explained that government has set aside youth empowerment funds which youths should take advantage of to improve their business.

Mr Sindaza said government will only give the money to youths that have registered clubs so that it will help them create employment for their fellow youths.

“Government will only put money in their pockets once they have access to the funds, money is there for you get the application forms and apply,” Mr Sindaza said.
