Kabulwebulwe basic school re-opens on Monday

Mumbwa, March 7, ZANIS ———The Ministry of health in Mumbwa has re-opened Kabulwebulwe basic school which was closed in January due to poor Sanitation.

Mumbwa District Medical Officer Christopher Dube told ZANIS in Mumbwa that the school will resume classes on Monday.

Dr Dube explained that after re-assessing the school it was found that the high water table which was forcing the effluent from the pit latrine to flow in the school grounds had gone down.

He said the school was now ready to re-open for academic programs.

In January the ministry of health closed the school due to poor sanitation arising from the high water table which forced the effluent from the pit latrine to flow in the school grounds.
