Kabompo, March 7, ZANIS ———- Women in Kabompo have this year been commended for cleaning Kabompo district hospital patients’ wards as part of the International Women’s Day commemoration activities.

District Commissioner Dennis Kanyakula made the commendation when he addressed women who gathered outside Kabompo district hospital to clean its wards as part of their international women’s day commemoration activities.

The women cleaned toilets, bathrooms, floors and surroundings of all the wards of the district hospital.

Acting District Medical Officer Fanwell Zulu also commended the women for their good spirit, saying their kind work in cleaning the wards of the hospital showed their good will to the hospital staff that the women had a big heart for the patients in the government health institution.

The women also cleaned the premises of the health institution’s two mother-shelters.
