Secretary to the Cabinet, Rowland Msiska says there is need to find an export market for local products made by youths in the country.

Speaking when he toured youth exhibitions at government complex in Lusaka today, Dr Msiska said he was impressed with the innovativeness of the youths, adding that many of them have the potential to compete internationally.

Dr Msiska stated that with a ready market, many local products could become a source of income not only for the youths but the general populous.

He urged Youth Innovators in the country to show determination and aspire to compete on an international level.

Dr Msiska also said there is need to promote exchange programmes that will enable Zambian youths exchange ideas with others in the region.

Meanwhile, Dr Msiska has called on commercial banks to sensitise primary school pupils on the importance of saving as it plays a vital role in economic empowerment.

He said saving can only be inculpated as a culture if taught from a young age.
