—-Two suspected killers of Ruth Mbandu, a NIPA student who was murdered last year, today appeared in the Lusaka Magistrate Court.

Public Prosecutor, Abraham Ngozo, told the court that one of the accused did not come to the court for mention as prison authorities did not bring him.

Mr Ngozo said it was a matter where the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) had earlier issued partial instructions.

He added that the court was yet to receive other instructions and asked for an adjournment in the matter.

Magistrate Betty Malupenga then asked the state prosecutor to try and follow up with the DPP as it has taken time for the matter to be committed to the High Court.

The accused are yet to appear at the Lusaka Magistrates’ court on March 14, 2013 for mention as they await the DPP’s instructions.
