Chief Kambwali vows to work with Nchelenge DC

Nchelenge, February 20, ZANIS —– Chief Kambwali of the Lunda people of Nchelenge district has declared that he will not work with the Nchelenge District Commissioner Joseph Chisakula and desired him to be sent to another place.

He made the declaration when Luapula Province Permanent Secretary Mbololwa Muyaba paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.

He disclosed that he was not working well with the office of the District Commissioner and did not want him in his chiefdom because he had brought a lot of hatred.

He threatened that he wanted the District Commissioner to leave before something nasty happens to him.

Chief Kambwali added that he is going to explain in future why the District Commissioner should leave his chiefdom.

The Chief earlier refused to hear any self introductions from Nchelenge district officials who accompanied the Permanent Secretary to his palace because in his opinion, they came to represent the District Commissioner whom he had unresolved issues with.

He said he was not ready to entertain people from the district commissioner’s office as he was very upset with him.

And Mrs Muyaba said she had taken a tour to the palaces in the districts to familiarise herself with the challenges that the Chiefs were going through and also to see how best they could solve some of the challenges with the help of her office.
