ZANIS COPY-Rehabilitation works shouldn’t disturb service delivery-Mwamba

Western province Permanent Secretary Emmanuel Mwamba has asked health workers in Mongu district not to relax in their work because of ongoing rehabilitation and restoration of some health centers.

Mr. Mwamba said the rehabilitation works on some health facilities should not affect the delivery of quality health services to members of the community.

He said health services such as maternal and antiretroviral therapy (ART) services are at the heart of the Patriotic Front (PF) government hence access should be available as close to communities as possible.

The PS was speaking at Liyoyelo Health Centre whose health services have been disturbed after government provided KR 140, 000 for the rehabilitation of the centre.
